One of the most powerful things you can do as an Everyday Innovator is give voice to other innovators and to other ideas. My guest today shares with us how she broke down silos, creating massive collaboration and ultimately helped improve the culture of innovation inside a very large organization. Kelly Foster is the Associate Director for the Executive Staff at he US Army Research Laboratories, and the host of The Mentoring Lab podcast. She shares her story of creating the “cohort of colleagues”, and the impact it’s had on the organization. She also shares her tips on overcoming the fear or lack of courage that keeps us from pursuing our own ideas, and how being a constant learner has been the key to continued success.
